WELCOME TO UNIT 143 of
GREATER ST. LOUIS |
CALLING ALL CADDIES!
Our Regional starts late this year, and our usual high‑school caddies are unavailable. We need caddies for Mon–Fri, Aug 24-28, Morning & Afternoon sessions. If you or someone you know is available to work any of the sessions, please email Jay Shah at jay@jsbridge.com. It's an opportunity to earn some money while supporting our bridge community.
Congratulations to all our Mini-McKinney and Ace of Clubs winners.
I hope and expect that all had a good time playing in the Jack Bryant Spring Sectional and congratulations to all who scored some master points.
Next up is our annual Regional on Aug 24-30, 2026, at the Renaissance St Louis Airport Hotel, 9801 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis. We look forward to everyone playing in this event as often as possible. Please use this link for further information Flyer. For those out of town, please make reservations as soon as possible.
The Board is announcing a new program to encourage intermediate and new players. In 2026, for anyone advancing in rank up to and including Regional Master or completing 5 to 6-classes pre-approved by the Unit, we send a congratulatory message and award 2 free sessions for any 2027 Sectional Tournaments.

CONDUCT and ETHICS Issues
Most of us want to play the game of duplicate bridge honestly. When you play against
an opponent you suspect is not playing in accordance with the Laws, or violating
the Code of Disciplinary Regulations, please file a Player Memo. This can be found by clicking the "Club Guidelines for Discipline" link under Unit 143 Governance.
You may
also privately text the game director, but making a public accusation is in itself a violation
of the CDR, so please be careful to report suspicious conduct properly.
